ODSMT's Sethalene Roahhorse and Elvira Emerson helped with operation snowfall. Operation Snowfall was put together by local law enforcement and emergency personel. Operation Snowfall was a collaborative effort of local governmental entities and community volunteers. The purpose of Operation Snowfall is to provide aid and help to those who may be stuck or stranded in remote areas of the Navajo Reservation. ODSMT's Sethalene Roanhorse and Elvira Emerson participated in the effort by assisting with the financial reports and the gathering of food materials to be distributed to elderly and those in need of food and aid.
